On February 5, Finley turned 3. She received a lot of cool things for her birthday - a dollhouse that talks and sings songs (in a British accent!), a keyboard, a CD player w/ microphone, a Woofgang Pug dog as well as some other great things.
We celebrated the day with cake, time at the playground and playing with her new toys.
Here she is about to be sung to (though naturally, she had to join in on the singing).
Very excited for her big day. And did I mention she got a Belle (Beauty and the Beast) dress-up? Thank goodness - now we're finally able to keep Cinderella off of her long enough to send it to the cleaners.
Finley also had a small friend party on Wednesday. (I like to refer to it as a meeting of Junior United Nations since Brits, French and Aussies were all representin'.) She regularly has playdates with 4 other little girls, so we invited them over for playtime, Pin the Crown on the Princess, pizza and Decorate-Your-Own-Cupcake.
Here's Fin and Zoe hard at work decorating their cupcakes.
Mimi and Eloise doing the same.
Yum!
Bestie Zoe (dressed up as Ariel)
The balloons (yellow and blue to represent Finley's favorite two princesses - Belle and Cinderella) were a hit.
