Poor Fin has had a rough go of it lately - hence our lack of posts (which my sister just harassed me about). We went to the doctor for an ear infection and got antibiotics.....then went back 4 days later when her fever was still up and ear wast still hurting.....got new antibiotics. Then went back three days later when the fever was back....got diagnosed with a bad chest infection. Was prescribed a inhalor, new antibiotics and probiotics. And then went back four more days later and learned that her chest is still really bad. So Fin is now on a nebulizer three times a day for the next several days. =(
She feels okay but we've pulled her out of school for the week to keep her from catching anything else right now. My poor girl. It makes us feel very lucky that we typically have healthy kiddos.
I could post a similar picture of Ben. We've been on it since last week Tuesday. It's awful isn't it? He screams the whole time. Hang in there - our infection is viral so it just seems to be hanging on and on. We go to the dr every couple days so they can keep listening to lungs and checking O2 levels. They did tell me a secondary infection could be really dangerous so good to keep them away from other kids.
ReplyDeleteThat's awful, Kim. It has to be so much harder to do that with a baby....at least with Fin or Kate, you can put on the tv and distract them. You've had a rough winter! Hope everyone is back to 100% soon!
