The rest of our time in Chicago was great...but SO busy. We were able to see lots of close friends and all of our family, but somehow didn't have enough time for everyone and for everything we wanted to do. I was so happy that Finley got to see her two Chicago bff's (Emma and AJ) and that I was able to spend quality time with their moms! We split our time between my mom's house and Julie's place in the city (a.k.a. our old condo), so it was a good mix of things. Other than that, there was a lot of shopping done, a ton of pizza consumed and way too much trekking all over the place. I also got to see 6 of my college roommates and best friends at our friend Carrie's bachelorette party. It was a great excuse to get all of us together again. So the trip was pretty much a whirlwind. It was so nice celebrating Christmas in Chicago, but we don't miss the cold weather at all.

Fin was all about meeting Santa until the time came to sit on his lap. In the end, she hightailed it as far away from him as possible and Nolan was forced to be her proxy.

So glad we were able to hang out! Emma is still modeling her new clothes for us every. single. day. She is in LOVE with her new wardrobe:)
ReplyDeleteLove Fin's Christmas morning hair and am more than a little jealous of her sparkly new Tom's. Seems as though I was just reading about those on someone's blog...;) She is definitely one hip toddler!
