Our trip to Chicago was great....and jam-packed! Who knew a month could pass so quickly? While we saw a lot of people, there still wasn't nearly enough time spent with our friends and family.
Here's Finley and her first love, AJ. AJ is the son of one of my closest friends, Adrienne. These kiddos are a mere 12 days apart in age and have been hanging out together since Finley was just a few days old!
And this is Jacob, the son of one of my oldest friends - Erica. They introduced us to Two Toots, a train restaurant in Glen Ellyn. It was a HUGE hit!
And here's Jack with Nolan and Finley. Jack is our friends Kevin and Lindsay's son. Lindsay and I met when I moved to Denver in 2003.....and after we moved to HK, they FINALLY moved back to IL.....but we're hopeful that we'll be in the same country state city neighborhood soon.
We miss having near-daily playdates with AJ. Especially since he has a sister who is just a few months older than Nolan. We did our best to get the kids together as much as possible!
Nolan even made a furry friend, Kota.
We wish we had pics of the kids with all the friends they spent time with, but mama was a bit forgetful when it came to bringing the camera on playdates.
